NordicNeuroLab launches new FDA approved software for functional MR imaging analysis
October 26, 2009 (Bergen, Norway) – NordicNeuroLab (NNL), a global market leader in the development of products for functional neuroimaging, has released nordicBrainEx. This new software package provides a tool clinicians can use for post-processing, analysis, and visualization of BOLD, diffusion, and DTI imaging data.
Meeting the needs of clinical users performing functional imaging studies, the new software will play an integral role in expanding and streamlining these capabilities in hospitals and imaging centers. nordicBrainEx addresses key issues in analyzing functional MR imaging data within the clinical workflow, providing users with an array of advanced features and protocols that increase overall productivity while minimizing the probability of error or variability in the quality of the results.
"At NordicNeuroLab, we are intently focused on the development of advanced functional imaging applications and solutions that will help clinical users enhance their capabilities and efficiency," said Tormod Thomsen, CEO, NordicNeuroLab. "We are excited by nordicBrainEx’s ability to advance our customers’ productivity through automated analysis, flexibility in reporting capabilities, and optimized clinical workflow."
nordicBrainEx seamlessly integrates with NordicNeuroLab’s fMRI hardware for stimulus presentation and response collection to provide a complete fMRI Solution to users. nordicBrainEx received 510(k) market clearance by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in August of 2009.
